Description

This is a Glass and Stainless Steel Side Table, Model NTA-200, designed by Davis Allen and Gordon Bunshaft as part of SOM Design. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. was and still is an important architectural firm globally. SOM produced thousands of their own furniture designs from the 1950s-1980s, and this is a classic example. The table features a highly polished stainless-steel base, and has a square, glass top.

This piece will be accompanied by digital copy of original drawing. It came from SOM’s Chase Manhattan Bank project and retains the original label from Chase. Can be professionally re-polished for a modest extra fee if desired.

The table measures 18 inches deep, 18 inches wide, and 18.25 inches high. The polished stainless-steel base and glass top are in good condition with light wear apparent, including a few light scuffs and scratches. Overall, the table is in good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
