The GJ 118 Easy Chair has an oiled oak or walnut frame with cushions covered in wool or sheepskin fabric. Today the furniture is delivered fully assembled. The entire GJ collection is “Made in Denmark”.

The GJ 118 Series was originally designed for the American market in the late 1950s and produced by France & Son – owned by the Danish design manufacturer Poul Cadovius. The furniture was, delivered flat-packed as knockdown furniture for easy export, which was France & Son business idea and the main reason for their phenomenal success on the American market.
