Description

This is an Akari UF4-33N Floor Lamp, originally designed by Isamu Noguchi for Akari in 1951. This particular example was produced in Japan in the 1990s. The lamp’s design features a metal base a shade comprised of washi paper and bamboo ribbing.

The lamp measures 18.5 inches deep, 18.5 inches wide and 75 inches high. This piece does show wear from previous use, including a couple of small tears that are only visible from one angle. If the lamp is placed in a corner, these tears are completely unnoticeable. Overall, the lamp is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
