Description

This is a Womb Lounge Chair, designed by Eero Saarinen for Florence Knoll and Knoll Associates in 1948. This particular example was manufactured by Knoll in the USA in 2024. The piece features a seat that is formed of foam-covered molded fiberglass which is upholstered in red fabric, and it has tubular steel legs with a chrome finish. This is the full-size example, not the medium-size.

The chair measures 36.25 inches deep, 40.5 inches wide, and 36.75 inches high with a seat height of 16.25 inches. This piece shows some very slight wrinkling on one side of the front. Barely noticeable. Overall, the chair is in excellent condition. Please see photos.
