Reversal Chair

Description

The Reversal Chair fits anywhere where aesthetics are required and a good office chair is missing. His character: two strong positions. Sometimes a kneeling chair, then a chair with backrest. It turns the world of the normal office chair on its head – and that is to be taken literally. With invisible mechanics and the pull of an elegant, small tab, the chair with backrest is transformed into a kneeling chair. The Reversal Chair gives its person posture and ensures better blood circulation and breathing. How? With the kneeling chair, the angle between the leg and the body is larger, so that the sitting position can be upright and back-friendly and the body has better blood circulation.

The Reversal Chair was designed by Juri Roemmel. Roemmel is a designer based in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Driven by observation and guided by aesthetic refinement, his analytical and discursive approach characterizes his output of distinctive products and visual concepts. The studio engages in autonomously-led projects and collaborates with a range of national and international clients.
