Description

This is an LCW Lounge Chair, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1948. It is an early Herman Miller example featuring the 5-2-4 screw pattern. The chair is composed of walnut, and its age has only contributed to its beauty. The finish has become smooth from use producing a satiny sheen. This particular example came from an estate in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The chair measures 25.25 inches deep, 20 inches wide, and 26.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 15.38 inches. We have intentionally left this piece in patinated condition. This piece does show wear consistent with previous use, including some wear on the bottom of the seat. Overall, this LCW chair is in very good condition with some signs of use. Please see photos.
