Description

This is a Bird Desk Chair, Model FK 6727, also commonly referred to as the Tulip chair. It was initially designed in 1964 and was referred to as The Bucket Chair by its designers, Preben Fabricius and Jorgen Kastholm. This example was manufactured in Germany by Walter Knoll in the 2000s. Its design features a fiberglass shell fully upholstered in white leather atop a 5-star aluminum base.

The chair measures 25.2 inches deep, 29.14 inches wide, and 43.41 inches high. The leather shows some scratches and scuffs from use, and the corners and edges show some wear. The five-point aluminum base has minor scuffs and scratches as well. Overall, this chair is in good condition. Please see photos.
