Description
This is a two-seat loveseat sofa, originally designed by Jim Eldon for Knoll. This particular example was produced in the 1970s. The design features a solid walnut frame paired with seat and back cushions upholstered in black fabric. This sofa came from the IBM Headquarters in Armonk, which was designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill (SOM) Architects, under project lead Gordon Bunshaft and Davis Allen likely leading the interiors.
The sofa measures 34.5 inches deep, 67.5 inches wide, and 28.5 inches high, with a seat height of 18 inches. This piece shows wear consistent with age and previous use, including minor surface blemishes and chips to the wood frame near the bottom edges. Overall, the sofa remains in good vintage condition.
