Description
Cherry, a simple and minimalist suspension lamp comprised of an aluminum cone mounted atop a sphere. The soft light produced by the diffuser reflects off the mirror-finish steel. The Cherry suspension lamps refer to our childhood souls: the rubbers we would collect and, more obviously, the ice cream cone with the cherry on top that we loved so much.
The Cherry Collection was designed by Australian-designer duo Daniel-Emma. They (Daniel To and Emma Aiston) established the design studio DANIEL • EMMA in 2008, to enable them to express their thoughts through Industrial Design. Their studio works on a large variety of projects, ranging from desk objects to installations. They first showed in London in 2008 and their work has since been shown in Paris, Tokyo, New York, Berlin and throughout Australia.
