Meet the Cuddly Cactus, or Cereus jamacaru—a rare spineless wonder in the cactus world that’s as safe to hug as it is eye-catching. This tall, column-shaped beauty from Brazil sports thick, ribbed stems in a cool greenish-blue shade, perfect for adding a splash of sculptural charm anywhere. By night, it surprises with large, fragrant white flowers, and later, tasty edible fruits. Who knew a cactus could be this cuddly and delightful?

Prefers Bright Indirect Light.  Place in east or west facing windows that receive bright light for most of the day. 

Water once a week during the growing season (spring and summer) and reduce watering during the dormant season (fall and winter). Make sure the soil is dry to the touch, but not completely dry.  Avoid getting water on the leaves or stem, as this can cause rotting. Overwatering can cause the roots to rot, leading to the death of the plant.
