Description
This is an armless Cesca bar stool, model 51CH, originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928. The listed price includes one Cesca bar stool. This example was manufactured by Knoll in 2021. The design features a tubular chromed-steel cantilever base, and has an upholstered molded plywood seat and back. The upholstery is currently done in a nubby crimson red fabric.
The stool measures 23.6 inches long, 18.1 inches wide, and 42 inches high. It has a seat height of 29 inches. The chromed-steel cantilever base is in terrific condition with no pitting. The upholstery is also in extremely good condition, having seen little to no use. Overall, this bar stool is in excellent condition with light wear. Please see photos.
