Description
Heracleum III Endless is a perpetual blossom of new branches that multiplies by the meter. Starting out as an experiment and inspired by its namesake flower, Heracleum III Endless know no bounds. Every Heracleum III Endless can be connected to each other, to make a suspended lighting design that goes on forever. It is a design not possible with normal wires. It’s powered by Electrosandwich, a technique of coating conductive layers invented by Marcel Wanders studio.
The Heracleum Collection was designed by Bertjan Pot. He is a designer, probably best known for his Masks and Random Light. The light started as a material experiment, which is basically the start of each product created by Studio Bertjan Pot. The outcome is usually an interior product, showing a fascination for techniques, structures, patterns and colors. Most experiments start quite impulsively by a certain curiosity for how things could function or something could look. From there, he takes on challenges with manufacturers to explore possibilities and push boundaries, where he can. Every challenge brings a new reward.
