Description

This is an ‘Orsay’ Three Seat Sofa, initially designed by Gae Aulenti for Knoll International in 1974. The design features an enameled-steel frame that is burgundy, and this example is upholstered in a lighter, coordinating burgundy suede. This collection was first released in 1976, offering several different silhouettes that one could incorporate. It included lounge seating, side chairs, and high and low tables. Knoll stopped production of this collection in 1999.

This sofa measures 33 inches deep, 88 inches wide, and is 30 inches high. It has a seat height of 17 inches. The suede upholstery is patinated and has various scuffs and fading, and there are some scratches and nicks on the enameled steel frame. Overall, this sofa is in good condition with signs of use.
